• Soil testing adoption remains low historically (pre-SHC scheme, over 90% of farmers never tested soil; even now, regular testing is limited among smallholders).
• Sourcing involves multiple small dealers, resulting in inconsistent pricing, poor availability, and no scientific guidance.
